Do you enjoy learning about history or the supernatural? Do you want to learn more about the City of Independence?
Join us for a guided tour of Hemlock Cemetery, where you’ll hear tales of old — some true, some legend, and some spooky! You’ll also learn about Victorian burial customs and the stories of those buried beneath your feet, hauntingly portrayed by local actors.
You’ll meet your tour guides, dressed as characters from the past, outside Historic Hall, 6675 Brecksville Road in Independence. From there you’ll walk to Hemlock Cemetery, where souls from the 19th century found their final rest. Afterward, you’ll return to Historic Hall for donuts, cider, and hot chocolate.
