Join us for an evening of captivating stories of early Independence as our guides lead you to the gravesites of local citizens, brought to life by our “spirit actors”.
Tour Times: 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM (Meet at Maple Shade Cemetery at Brecksville & Rockside Roads)

Holiday Homes Tour

Check In at Historic Hall between 12:00-1:00 PM EST (6675 Brecksville Road)
Homes will be open for tours 1:00-4:00 PM EST
Get ready to kick off the holiday season with the Independence Holiday Home Tour! This fun-filled event offers a chance to explore beautifully decorated homes, featuring charming 19th-century and early-to-mid-20th century architecture.
Check-in at Historic Hall in the Square to get a list of homes, wrist band and shoe covers. The tour is self-guided, so you can explore homes in any order, at your own pace, between 1:00 and 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 14th. As you visit, friendly residents will greet you and share delightful stories about their homes and festive displays. Grab your friends, cozy up with some hot cocoa and cookies at some of the stops, and let the holiday spirit inspire you!
